No 1 – Sparse Growth

Do you have sparse or over-plucked brows? Not everyone was born with naturally thick, bushy brows. Sadly, sparse brows can be down to over-plucking, scars, ageing or just lack of hair growth.

The 90’s saw the return of over-plucking with a vengeance: thin was in. Stars such as Pamela Anderson relied heavily on eyebrow pencil to give the illusion of any hair being there at all!

SOLUTION

If tweezing is something you do too regularly, put them down! You’ll need to work on a re-growth programme and use make up in-between treatments to help you along your way to brow perfection.

To begin with, let us begin your brow re-growth journey and get those thin brows more suited to you. Your Stylist will be able to assess your brows and show you a range of our brow products, recommending which they think is the most suitable for you.

TOP TIP

Need to fake it while you make it? Growing back hair doesn’t happen overnight so you’ll need something to help give you some shape in the meantime. Our retractable Browtec pencil is perfect. It’s firm texture makes it easy to control and apply – ensuring lines are clean and accurate – the ideal pencil to create foolproof hair strokes.

No 2 – Uneven Brows

DIAGNOSIS

Do you have uneven brows that you can’t get to match? Your eyebrows should both sit on the fatty pad which is on top of the eye socket, but this isn’t always the case which may be due to: Too much hair removal, anti-ageing injections or Ptosis – (a drooping or falling of the upper eyelid caused by weak muscles.)

SOLUTION

Our HD Brow treatment aims to get the dimensions of both brows as similar as possible, however we’re realistic and understand they will never be identical – after all, as the Founder of HD brows, Nilam Holmes-Patel says, your brows are sisters, not twins.

We recommend visiting us every 4-6 weeks so we can work on getting your brows as symmetrical as possible and once that’s been achieved – it’s simply a case of maintenance.

TOP TIP

You’ll need some make up to help keep your brows looking as even as possible until you reach your final goal. Why not try our Brow Define? This medium-firm brow pencil is enriched with waxes for easy application and is ideal to fill, define, blend, and shape brows to perfection.

No 3 – No Archs

DIAGNOSIS

Do your brows have a lack of an arch? You’re brows are just too flat, straight with not a lift or an arch in sight? Don’t panic! Thanks to Kendall Jenner and Victoria Beckham, flatter brows are becoming all the rage! Even so, if you want to raise your arches, we can help you.

SOLUTION

If you have brows that lack an arch, we can gradually turn those flat, straight brows into ideal arches designed just for you, step by step. With regular treatments, your stylist will work on lifting and lowering your brows in all the right places, to get them perfectly designed for you.

TOP TIP

Want those arches now? Fake it till you make it with our Browtec pencil. Start by brushing the brows upwards, to open up the eyes and give the brows an effortless lift. Then place a few soft pencil strokes at the top of the arch following your current hair growth, giving them some natural height. You can then fix everything in shape by using our clear Brow Beater gel (like hairspray for brows).

No 5 – Make Up Dilemma

DIAGNOSIS

Do you have a brow make up dilemma? Not everyone is born with beautifully thick brows like Cara Delivigne (if only). However, this doesn’t mean you should pick up the darkest brow pencil you can find and fill the whole brow in, often referred to as the infamous ‘scouse-brow’.

SOLUTION

Although it is today’s fashion to have a much fuller brows, we still want to create something that looks natural. Using a one shape fits all approach can leave you with the wrong artificial shape that doesn’t necessarily suit your face shape or flatter your features. Let us design the perfect shape bespoke for you – you can then follow this easily at home.
